Nice!
What a SOB, if I found out somebody around here was doing that to cars I would find out where he lives and paint his house with a few hundred paint balls.

This is funny how people will send mail like this and have no clue. The first thing everyone said to me holy that must be hard on gas I laugh and say I get better mileage with this than my Jeep!!! Jeep got 350km to average 80L fill up the Hummer (H2) 500-550km to average 90L fill up our Ram 1500 gets 550 to a tank and is 90l to fill. Research it takes minuets to do with the internet now maybe JohnDoe should quit looking at porn and eating cheesies!!!

Nice.. anyways we all know our trucks aren't the best on gas but we do a lot of good..I am not ashamed of my mileage, I am proud of my trucks ability and how I can help the communities and how much fun we get to have.. as for JohnDoe.. not much more can be said!

We'll have to put fuel economy ratings up to reply to these people.
The 6 cylinder Jeeps get worse mileage than the H1's so I'm told. And the Ford crew cab 350, only get half the mileage. Also the news article about the Primus vs the H1 on enviromental costs. H1 wins again.
[/quote]
Here's a real life comparision
I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty Renagade 3.7 v6
And I have a 2006 H2 6.0 V8
Trip from London-Hamilton-London using my Jeep cost $60.00 gas
Trip from London -Hamilton-London using my H2 cost less than $70.00
It does cost more to fill my H2 (tank is larger)
I've had a AC-Z lic. for 30 years plus...driving everything the steel company had from 300ton steel carriers to 100ton floats and everything in-between
my point being is if you drive a H2 like a truck not a race car off the lights etc..your fuel milage will repay you back..
Myfriends Ford full size Harley truck gets worse mpg than my H2
Just my 2 cents worth

Re: Our First Hate Mail
I am always correcting people on their MPG assumptions of my Hummer; most people I meet that want to talk about it think it is awesome... but then somewhere in there they throw in "Boy the mileage must sure suck though".
"Nope" I tell them, "I can drive from Calgary to Vancouver on a single tank of fuel". Which usually prompts the second question; "You must have a huge fuel tank!!"
. "Not huge, about 100L" I retort, "I actually can average close to 10L/100km on the highway, in the real world I get better mileage than a similarly equipped Toyota Tacoma or Nissan Frontier."
Usually there is a long pause while the person considers that maybe, just maybe Hummer isn't as bad on fuel as they may have been led to believe.
