Ever wonder ?
Here is a question . Why did GOVERMENT MOTORS never put the stereo controls on the steering wheel of the H3 ? I have always been puzzled by that . <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />

My guess to keep the cost down, also to try and emphasize the simplicity aspect of it.
One thing that actually impresses me with my truck is that it is utterly utilitarian inside with no clutter, everything I need and nothing I don't.

Re: Ever wonder ?
My girlfriend has a Saturn Astra 2008 and has more gooddies in her car than my H3 2008. The H3 is a generation 2006 and her's is a 2008. She has a more evolve computer center, stearing controls, jacknife key... If the economy would have been better, I'm sure the H3's second generation would have all the gooddies to follow the crowd. Maybe GM will bring back the Hummer when things get back to place?

Sorry but 08 H3 Alpha's have same basic steering wheel even with the Good Sound System but we noted that centre plate seems to be a standard GM plate used in many GM cars and trucks.
