Where to buy air filter?
Where do you guys get your air filter replacements?? I have gone to a few Canadian Tire stores, and a few Super K's and Target's in the States, but still could not find one single air filter for my 2008 H3.

Re: Where to buy air filter?
I picked one up from Canadain Tire recently, freaking expensive!! You could ask them to order one in for you probably, they are the cheapest place I found locally.
Also did you try NAPA or PartsSource?

Do you remember how much you paid at Canadian Tire?? I want to know to see if it is worthwhile to get it form ebay or from the States, thanks!

Re: Where to buy air filter?
I bought my K@N at van and truck world for $45 dollars . I have the 3.7 in my H3 . I am in Mississauga . Remember if you are in Toronto you can swing by the Performance improvements on the Queensway . They can get you any type you need ! I found even Napa to be a bit over priced . Are you looking for Performance or stock replacement ? I would just go with K@N or Accel . Life time filter . The cleaning kit's are like $10 to $12 dollars.

No way, you can get K&N for $45?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />?? I have checked every where and it ranges between $70 and $100cad. Thanks and I will definitely check out Van and Truck. I have used K&N filter for my last three sports cars I had, and I do not mind trying it with my H3 too. : ) I still have two sets of cleaning kits unfinished so they should last me a while because we only need to clean the filter once every 100,000KM any way, correct? I will google Van and Truck now, thanks once again.

Re: Where to buy air filter?
I used to buy mine at Napa, always in stock to boot (for an 08 as well)! I think they were $30-$40...
One thing I did find about the stock replacement filters is they're that cotton-y material and it holds a TON of water - aka if you're wheeling your H3 and take on water the filter will hold it and keep it out of the motor!! The K&N won't hold water so you lose that extra bit of protection, I never went with a K&N for this very reason!! Something to consider....

Thanks for you tip, JL, and I will visit Truck and Van World this weekend at their Scarborough location to see what options I have.
