Hummer and Driver Needed

Post by duncanpa »

Found a request from a lady on Kijiji and it looks legitimate. Spoke to her via email and I can not accomodate her as I am working and preparing for a graduation ceremony and my principal said NO to my request to take the day off...wonder why.... If anyone can help Janine out...it would be great. Thanks.

Hi. Thank you very much for your reply back. This has been a very difficult time for our family due to cancer and illnesses. My son Dylan who started MSS last fall has been there through thick and thin for me(our family). Dylan is in love with Hummers and I wanted to do something special for him, And so I wanted to find somebody like yourself to pick Dylan and his two buddies up after his exam on Monday 27 in front of the school 10:30am. I realize the cost of driving a Hummer and respect that .I could possibly give you $100.00 for gas and $50.00 for your time.I am just back to work p/t at Rawley Resort in Port Severn as I am a full time home care provider for my Mother right now.I live on Cherry St. in Waubaushene just up from the Esso station. Thanks again for your time to reply, I will understand if it is to costly, As I realize the cost of Hummer's . I get home tonight around 8:30pm from Rawley, hope to hear back from you but if not that's alright too. I'm not a charity case just want to do something special for my son who is very appreciative.

Sincerely

Janine

I really hope this lady finds a Hummer owner with a (characteristically) good heart.

I offered a complete stranger walking with a Jerry-can a ride to the next gas station (about a km away each way) today, and I can only hope that someone else near her will be able to offer the same kindness and courtesy.

Wish we could help .. but as John has just had his surgery it's no driving for 6 weeks. Just a thought.. could we adjust the request a little to the boys first day of school in September? We are only 1/2 hour away and could arrange that .. Let us know <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Derek, Wish I could help, but I'm in Waterloo. So it's a bit too far for me too.
