Sourcing parts

Post by SELWA »

Just wondering where you guys get your parts. I'll be needing some ball joints and inner hub seals. I'd like to buy local. I've gone on a few differnt US sites and prices vary and so does the cost of shipping.<DIV> </DIV><DIV>Thanks,</DIV><DIV>Joe </DIV>

Hi Rick,<DIV> </DIV><DIV>Very true! I bought from Kascar using our company account number (we get a 50% rate) and I still paid $67 extra for a $44 order!</DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV>Having a distributor in Canada would be great. I'm wondering how to import the parts I'll need to upgrade my HVAC in my 95!</DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV> </DIV>

<P>Parts quote from Albertan Hummer dealer (GM) was $7200. Bought the whole list from american seller for $3800 plus $340 for a broker. A Canadian AM General parts dealer would be great but how many of us are there to keep them going.</P>

I purchase all my parts and accessories from American Outfitters in La Mesa California. I am driving down there in  couple of weeks and if anyone needs anything let me know. This will save you some shipping costs and brokerage fee.<DIV> </DIV><DIV>Cheers, Bob</DIV>
