Checked out Van and Truck World already and the price for the K&N filter is $69.99, so no difference than getting it any where else.
The funny thing was when I asked if they carried any rocker panel protectors for Hummers they looked at me like I was from outer space. I then asked them if they had any rock sliders, and they said they had never heard of them. The female sales person did a search on line and found their pictures and swore she had never even seen one before. The male sales person looked at the pictures on the monitor screen and then said they looked like skid plates. Good grief!
I shall check out our sponsors, President Derek.

Rhino has a pair of K&N direct flat replacements with snorkle we found they last wayyyyy longer between changes. Snorkle gives cleaner air but with original ram scoop head it has eaten wasps and other bugs.

Re: Where to buy air filter?
Just an update from searching in the USA. On our way back from the Indiana trip we deliberately stopped over Detroit for one night to do shopping, and I was able to find numerous brands of air filter for my H3 at Auto Zone. I bought two made by STP for $14.99. Fram was a few dollars more, and then the K&N for about $45. Now I know where to get them and they had plenty in stock, unlike stores in Canada, not to mention they are a lot cheaper down south with lower sale tax rate as well.

Yeah, Autozone is hard working too because they even open at 7am on Sundays. I would have gone to Advanced Auto first if Autozone was not already opened. I looked for the air filter first thing in the morning on Sunday after breakfast and no other auto parts stores was opened yet, except Autozone. Bravo to them, and I got my filters in and out in 7 minutes.

Just paid $51 at a performance shop for a K&N for mine,, didnt really argue with the price since Canadian tire was more expensive +18$ and a demonstration of air flow comparing a fram , and 2 other filter out of the box, and the K&N, basically no restriction on the K&N conpaired to 50 to 98% restriction on air flow for the other filter in paper.
the oem filter for the H3 costed me $87 some onmy 2006 so its a almost $40 reduction, i can manage that, next week or so , will change exaust for magnaflow, if it fits with underbody armour, since performance exaust oem GM mention that underbody armour is not compatible with performance exaust. will let you know
