Awesome. Lovin' it. If you have a CB, I think it would be a good place to mount a whip too.

Very nice.. one question, no chance of the Hi-Lift smacking the rear window?

the jack will not hit the window however the base of the jack just clears the rear door handle

I like the design..need some shots without the tire on it so we can all steal your design and plans ImageImageImage

That really looks good Brian.

It fits real nice on each side of the tire and does not stick out past the tire at the back. Great design.

Do you get any flex or vibration with the jerry can frame offset from the square tubing that supports them?

I really like that idea as my SUV is the only vehicle so far that I don't have 2 jerry cans always full on board. I like the way you set it up and may do the same but ad a brace from the rear or outermost point of the inside edge of each jerry can frame closest to the tire side at an angle back down to the tire carrier main cross arm just to help support the weight in a smaller tubing to match the size of the angle iron that makes up the frame for each jerry can that looks about 3/4" and run it down angled to the top edge of the tire gate crossarm.

The only reason I have is that I have 2 - 10L cans on the back of my Quad on each side and found I had to add a brace because one of them bent when offroading and left it twisted back and out at an angle and strapped it up till I got home. An extra support made it very rigid and won't move or bend ever now.

I really like how lifting the tire gives you lots of room to get at the reciever for pulling or towing.

If I copy your great idea I will be sure to say the idea came from how nice you set yours up first <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

there's defiantly more to it than just that.

it took a long time to figure how everything will work still. i can post up some more detailed pics.

as far as the gas can trays i was kinda worried about it to, but i can walk and jump around on them so i can guarantee 20l gas cans will be fine.

ill take a bunch of pics today and will post them tonight
