Stuck in 4wd low?

Post by Deacon444 »

After a few hours offroad today, I am now unable to put my H2 back in 4 high. All of the switches lights are off. When I try to switch it, the light flashes for a few seconds then turns off again. The truck feels like it's still in 4 low, and is having some trouble shifting gears.

Any thoughts?

yes what Derek said ! Also try reversing 30 to 50 feet also . Do it a couple of times . What year is your H-2 ? The H-2 owners on here might have had something similar . Knowing what year of vehicle is a great help . Different years had different bugs in them . Hope all goes well .

Haven't attempted it with fear of causing any more problems. Also did a scan and it's showing a P1875 code. Looks like it may be going into the dealership.

Just got it back from the shop. Broke a wire in the 4wd circuit offroading. $90 repair.
