My Remote Controlled H2

Post by 03H2 »

I am in to Scale RC's and recently i found a New Bright toy H2 at walmart i believe, i pulled the body off, stripped all the cheap stuff off of it. Next i bought a Scale chassis kit from Genersis Custom Frames and an old Axial Rock crawler rig. I used the diffs and shocks off the rock crawler along with the motor and tranny. Installed my own servo's and motor on it. Bought some 2.2 rock iron rubber and this is the out come....love it.

VERY cool!!

I've actually got an Axial crawler as well. I got a AX-10 RTC and what a blast that thing is!! Mines's still all stock though... Brian who's coming out on the 17th also loves his RCs, he's got a Traxxas Summit and an E-Revo... Great hobby these things!!

I love the beadlock rims on these... I took the foam out of the tires and have been experimenting running on air alone! Very cool you can do that with an RC...

Gotta bring the wee rig if you can make it out on the 17th!

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!
(try that in your prius)

Here are 2 more i built, the one is the Toyota truck from Tamiya. Different frame company but same cool result. This one has the 1.9 size of tire on it.

This on is an CR-01 Land Cruzer from Tamiya as well. I redid the suspension on it, added a ton of blue alloy to help strengthen it up..it runs on the 2.2 sizr tires as well...

All these trucks are a blast to run, they are all water proofed so i can submerge them if it so happens. Its just a relaxing hobby i have to take my mind off these darn drilling rigs some times which take up so much of my time.
