It's Sad

Post by shotgun-cam »

I posted several events on here last one Cruisin' for a Cure. We were the only Hummer at this event out of over 300 cars. We did however hook up with a Rally group that had a Dakar Rally truck from whom we are trying to get the location of several off road tracks in Durham. We need to show our trucks and to bind with other groups or we will find it harder to off road any more.

The sad reality is that we own rare trucks. Every Hummer owner has their reason for owning them, and individual desires for what they want to do with them. Getting a few of us together for an event takes dedication and effort (and money!), but it is always a great time.

I'm not stuck, I'm momentarily inconvenienced.

It is hard, the summer is a hard time with vacations and commitments...we must try, not everyone has the free time. One thing is that there are a lot fewer Hummers of all models out there then there are Jeeps or Camaros or other clubs that attend such events.. it is tough...please keep promoting on here your functions and we hope that others will see and attend..

We will be meeting this Saturday in Woodbridge at a Timmie's and maybe we can chat more then with some ideas..event organization is not easy and our members are spread out all over the city and country...

we do appreciate your dedication Ron at trying to set these kinds of events and meeting up...

May I suggest a convoy from the Timmies meet to The Street Classics show it should be a great one with the grand openning of the new Lowe's and their give aways.

Also I need more cards I've sent in another 07 H3 I met while shopping.

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!

Cheers for last night folks, my first HUMMER meet and we had a great time seeing some fantastic rides, meeting great people and getting some ideas for my own H2.
