Re: MOAB ANYONE !
I've wheeled with Harold aka 2N3RNFG a couple of times, very cool dude. I wanted to boost his ego, so I let pull him both my 2 and 3 out of some stucks I'd found myself in. His Alpha is astounding.
If you guys have a chance, you def want to meet up with him and his crew.
I'm looking forward to hearing him post on adventures.

Re: MOAB ANYONE !
I was in Moab when they were finalizing the H3 development - I actually wheeled with the GM guys for a few days.
You might find it interesting to know that,
When using BTM on an H2 that the extreme toe-in that occurs is normal. It doesn't look normal - but it's all allowed for in the design. I actually asked the H2 Suspension Project Manager about it.
That they sent a number H3's to Moab and everyone of them split at least 1 diff apart in the first day. 2 days later they had installed a revised design diff that didn't break. IIRC the diffs are aluminum. I actually saw 2 of them fail, one right on the Gates of Hell on the Hell's Revenge trail. We had a 'hell' of a time getting it out of there.
It might also be interesting to know that the early H3 diffs didn't fail when driven by the engineers, only when they handed the trucks off to others, like dealers, etc.
The only parts I've seen break on a stock H2 are the front tie-rods (I've seen many fail) and the occasional 1/2 shaft (only 1). I've seen all manner of parts fail on modified H2's, especially 1/2 shafts.
H3's seem to be pretty good once the diffs were fixed. The only fail I've seen with them is a power steering pump. Not bad!

Re: MOAB ANYONE !
Did anyone from Calgary go to the HCI event at Moab this year? I know a few trucks from Edmonton went down - they're still there. I think there were 3 trucks.

My H2 front diff EXPLODED on a climb... was gunning up a hill...hit a rock...and KABOOM.
