some peoples opinions should keep it to themselves

Post by sentrex »

I sure don't get it,when i tell my friends and other people that in the spring i'm buying an h1,they can't just be happy for you but instead they tell you all the disadvantages of buying an h1,i don't care what they think, but when someone tells me that they are buying something totally useless, ugly or stupid

i say cool good luck with that.

Any you guys had the same comments

I get people saying that H1's are bad on fuel but when I tell them they are better then the SUV's they shut up. I tell them also that having kids I'd rather be in the H1 then any other vehicle. I tell them I dont get stuck during snow storms and that if they see an H1 offering to help if their stuck take it.

I have heard everything from ... We are paying you way too much if you can afford a Hummer to...Its going to cost you a mint for fuel to...why would you want to have such a big vehicle.

Well let me tell you!

Its the best purchase I have made in a long time and it has already paid for itself in the fun it has provided.

Besides most of the people that made their negative comments are the first ones asking to go for a ride, LOL

what people say about having a hummer is very similar to what people say about Maple Leafs Team - they re bla bla bla...and how much theyre weak n not good enough or hopeless..but offer this guy to watch a game with a pair of season tickets he will take em no questions ask.....just hand em lol

There is only 11000 people who are allowed to have a Hummer assuming your talking an H1. A lot of folks are left out and won't have much good to say about your extravagent purchase. LOL

I haven't gotten any negative comments really, pretty much everyone I know is wishing they had one, or at least want to go for a ride. But I am tired of the first comment always being about fuel. My personal favorite about fuel no matter what vehicle you drive is "how much does it cost to fill that thing?" wtf does that matter, I could pay twice as much as you, but have it last 3 times longer. Ugh, it's the mileage not the how big of tank you have!! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' />

Even with our H3 Alpha we get the HUMMER's are bad tag. So I answer is the Colorado pick up bad, is the Silverado bad, well our H3 has the engine from one and on the others frame. Its actually a better truck and more fuel efficent than the Jimmy it replaced.
