Fall colors run 2011 aftermath ! Lol , anyone ?
So participants of our most amazing 2011 Fall Colors run . Sound off on any Boo Boo's you have ? Mechanical , Scrapes ? Still cleaning ? My front skid plate has some nice kitty scratches on her . I am still picking weeds out of the chassis . Loving every minute of it too . It means you know you had fun <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

Spent over $10.00 on car wash and still have to hand wash my baby sometime this weekend...unless I go back to the Swift on the Thanksgiving Weekend...heard Darcy wanted to challenge the steps again this weekend....have to figure out what is caught up in the front brake pads though....man are they squeeking..

well....I washed it all but the roof... also washed the engine.. first time in a long time and guess what... as soon as I drove it the next day... I got the P0332 Check engine Code..damn Knock Sensor Bank 2 low voltage.. something got wet.. anyways cleared the code and it hasn't come back.. just needs to dry out...other then that I have my alignment knocked out of whack pretty good..so need to get in to get that resolved because I have a bit of a wobble now..other then that... my Step went back on without an issue...and oh ya my OEM Chrome gas cap finally gave out on me.. those things were made just like crap..the little, I assume, gas filled pin that keeps the door closed is now stuck and has no life left or at least not much..so on the hunt I go for a new one.. it is the only Chrome that will remain on my truck.. it lasted 4 years, can't complain..

Derek There is an update for the knock sensors so that you will never have the problem again! You need to replace the both and remove the foam pieces under the front and rear of the intake manifold. Also you need to make a 340 degree circle in silicon 1/2" high with the opening facing the rear to prevent this from happening. I did this about 4 years ago and have never seen the code again no matter how deep the water is!
Hope this helps!
BTW, a quick trick that I do after trail rides to clean my brakes out...I go to the local boat ramp and go in and out a couple of times until the underside looks relatively clean...then I go to the car wash for the rest. I normally have alot of spectators when I do it too!!
Have Fun!

Great idea Kevin... I will for sure do that!! I also had a P0300 too, guess my O2 sensors didn't like all that water either.. this has long since cleared, a good rip on the road took care of that...
Kevin, if you have a photo, that would be a big help of your MOD...
and as for the boat ramp... that is a excellent idea...you know we are gonna have Hummers in the water everywhere from now on!

My A/C quits everytime it gets wet, and the driver information center says 'ice possible'. Once it dries out it works again. I'm thinking it is a short in the wiring running to the temperature sensors on the passenger side bumper, but I haven't fixed it yet. I forget about it when its sunny, and don't want to look at it in the rain.
