Even in your home the government wants in

Post by sentrex »

WELL i must rant here last year i renovated the outside of my house when a week later the city inspector came knocking on my door telling me i had to get a permit, they say its the law,so i know you can't win so i went and got the permit, today my wife calls me and she tells me a city inspector is at the door and since its been a year since the permit expired he wants to come in and look inside to see if i did any reno's inside so that they can re evaluate my house.

I told him he had no business looking inside my house the permit was for the outside of the house and my wife is alone at home and if he stood 1 foot inside Jessie my doberman would eat him up.

I freakin pay income tax hst property taxes i own my house but they still can dictate what you can or can't do on your own land.

there i'm done

and the freakin beer fridge is empty

the reason for the empty beer fridge is my wife Tracey agreed that if i buy a 24 a month and not cheat then in the spring i can buy my H1.

i always liked a couple a beers after work and on weekends, she sais i drink too much (i think they all say that btw)but i agreed i will give up beer for an H1,hell i probably would give her up for an H1 also.just kidding without her i dunno where i'd be so its worth the compromise.

Well, if you have one beer a day, that gets you through 24 out of 30 days. That's not bad.... coming from a guy who can't stand the taste/smell of beer! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />

Still a good deal to land a H1 and keep the lady happy. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

Holy crap.. I can not believe they actually asked that, i mean how would they know what the inside of your house looked like prior...I am happy you didn't let them in.. I would tell them where to to, and I usually do anytime anyone shows up at my front door..just ask those damn Natural Gas salesmen...my favorite answer to their question"don;t you want to save money?" I say NOPE, I drive two hummers, does it look like I want to save money? I have lots thanks.. actually extra..ImageImage They become speechless very fast after that, then I tell them time to leave...

anyways good luck with the Beer.. maybe we could all send you a pint...it is for a good cause..Image H1 of course...

That's awesome! When I quite smoking years back, I was able to buy a Chevy Avalanche with the money I saved. I no longer have the Av. but an H2 now. I bet if I quit drinking I could have this H2 paid for AND buy an H1 <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... prised.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
