<font style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial,sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Dear dwaxman1,

10/22/04:General Motors has delivered a hydrogen powered HUMMER to theCalifornia Governor's office. The H2H is a HUMMER H2 that wasre-engineered to operate on gaseous hydrogen fuel. Its main tailpipeemission is water vapor.

The H2H uses a supercharged version of the truck's original Vortec6000 (6.0-liter V-<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='8)' /> internal combustion engine. Don't look for asimilar version to show up in your area, because it's not a productionvehicle.

HUMMER hopes to use the H2H to bring attention to hydrogen'spotential, and the public and private partnerships that will berequired to create a hydrogen economy.

Hope this helps if you have any other questions please ask.

Looks like a great idea, but we drive Hummers not little sedans. He needs to do the test on a truck of newer condition and then lets have a look at the numbers.

ere is the latest response from Buddy on ebay

Dear dwaxman1,

Hello I have never installed this item on a hummer. But these have beeninstalled on all makes of automobile and are guaranteed to:

Drastic increase in engine horsepower

Extreme gas mileage increase

Decrease the effects of global warming

IRS Tax Deduction

thanks for your question

- kw45640

Of course my response was not as Nice back to this one.... Here is my response

Dear kw45640,

How about any 6.0L GM Vortec engine??

P.s. I live in Canada, therefore IRS means nothing to me and Canadiangets no benefits like that, I am looking for real answers, not cut andpaste canned responses, especially if we are thinking about purchasinga $1000 item from you.

- dwaxman1

and his response to that was.......

Dear dwaxman1,

Hello I have one of these installed on my 01 montecarlo ss. I couldntbelieve the difference in GAS MILEAGE. This item has paid for itselfand Before I was getting 21 mpg, now 38 mpg on a 3800V6. As for ahummer I dont own one. The hydrogen fuel cell will work on anyautomobile. If its gas mileage you want to improve this is it.Reguardless of engine size.

- kw45640

So again I say.....

Dear kw45640,

Understood but I wanted to know about a 6.0L v8 Vortec engine, thanksbut I believe I will pass until you have some others that haveinstalled this first, I do not want to be the first on a Hummer.

Just thought I would keep you guys updated...Image

I read on this from another link and it had 3 carbon fibre high pressure tanks that combined help 12 pounds of hydrogen. This gave the H2 only half the horse power....180 instead of 325...and a driving range of 60 miles.

That does really help!

I think this is one of those too good to be true tings, if it was really this good, why wouldn't GM already have this in STOCK??? Especially with Gas prices where they are today, this would help their sales!!

It might be a long time to find a gas station.

I do not agree about reduced green house gas. Water vapour has the LARGEST effect of all green house gases.

FYI 70% of all the water used in arizona is used for CHEAP COOLING and goes up as water vapour! This must have some impact on the "geeen house effect" but it is not politically correct to mention it.
