What were you allegedly doing? Where?

That picture looks like a parking lot. Was he going to nail you for stunting in a parking lot?

I did a couple donuts in a snowed-in campground. I think Dave knows the name of it. Dave tried to step in and was then threatened with being ticketed for being a smartass. I am curious what he would have nailed Dave for had Dave kept it up. It was obvious the guy had a chip on his shoulder and I was the one whose vehicle was in motion when he arrived. (Though for about a minute before he arrived, I was just driving in a large circle, trying to go over the piles of snow right next to my vehicle in that picture.) I'm certain had I made a scene though, I'd have gotten nailed for failure to produce registration AND stunting, however he would like to justify it.

It's frustrating. I work with our Enforcement department on a daily basis and am good friends with our Peace Officers here. They're good people and are fair people. I guess I got accustomed to all Peace Officers being like that. It was a bit of a slap to the face and a wake up when this guy suffering from a Napoleon complex so obviously had a stick up his arse.

I wouldn't even call it a parking lot, more like an abandon pull out literally in the middle of nowhere... we goofed around in the snow there last year as well.

That area is so remote the guy must have been tailing you guys from a distance for quite a while, waiting for something to give you a hard time about.

I've been thinking this myself. It is fortunate he didn't find us 15-30 minutes earlier when we, uh, when we all accidentally slid into the ditch. A few times. Yes. That's it.

Lol... That was a momentary loss of traction!!

I don't think he was tailing us or he would have been mad with that unfortunate incident with the ditch, he was probably driving by from the opposite direction and saw us there... Just pisses me off - out in the middle of nowhere is a parking lot that is only used in summer at a stocked fishing pond ( sibbald pond ).

Again - little cop wanna-be syndrome.... Actually I think that Napoleon comment pretty accurate and damn funny if I say so. And for the record, Joe was the smart ass.. He just got mad at me as I laughed and looked around when he gave the comment " people use this area! "

And don't get me wrong... I respect and appreciate the position,.. Just not him...............Image

Wow, it sounds totally unreasonable.

I think the police are in a position where they can make the world a better place or a worse place. When they turn everyone into a criminal, they make the world a worse palce. like when they put traffic camera's and speed traps on open roads with low traffic that are only there for revenue - not in places where speeding is obviously a safety issue.

Guys like the officer you ran into only erode the respect many officers deserve. Too bad.

Anyway, glad you didn't get 6 demerits! That's monster!

It was an awesome day with awesome people that's all that counted, glad he gave you the lower ticket as 6 demerits would have been a kick to the insurance premium I am sure.

My H2 is going in for mild 2 " lift Tuesday now that I seen how Brians and Dave's sit up so nice works out to 1.5 in the rear, 3.5 in the front to level it out, shock bracket so I cam still use the stock length shocks too.

I fixed the other thread...

The 2 inch lift to me is perfect as I don't want to throw out the centre of gravity, but I now have the much needed lift as I was bottoming out a lot prior...

Thanks to all who came, sorry you couldn't stay for a drink after Joe, we had a few good laughs...

But man.... BP's pumpkin soup is gawd awfull!! One of my favorite soups but I couldn't get past the first bite! My man beer made up for it...

Can't go too far wrong with the cheese steak at BPs, probably the closest thing to honest pub grub that's on their menu! Beer is definitely a man's drink, but THAT beer was a MAN'S man's beer! Shoulda snapped a pic next to my lowly bottle... Image

i lifted 3 in front and 3 in the rear.

i would get longer shocks though.

i put in shocks from a 4" rancho lift in.

stock shocks will get hyper extended

think bout it.

raise the truck even 2" shocks stay the same. they can only extend out so far.

your loosing suspension travel for sure
