How would you adjust the stiffness of them for highway and off-road?

I guess you could use air bags in between... then maybe seal the sides off to keep debris out, probably put some reinforcing on the sidewalls to prevent punctures and put some side bitters on. Wait, did I just reinvent the wheel? <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />

I see more and more of this tire around conversations and in emails, it seems like a good idea but i am sure something that would last as long as this would not be in the best interest of the tire people lol.
