New front wheel bearing hub assembly

Post by vittorioh2 »

Hi guys, I need to replace my front wheel bearing because don't sound well...I'm looking on the web and I thinking about to buy these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-AUTODIRECT- ... 760wt_1165

What do you think about?

They speak about TS 16949 CERTIFIED!

Remember I live in Italy so I need someone who do international shipping (not all do it!)

Regards

I just read that the fuel tax went up by 21% in Italy, and that gas prices are at ~ 1.80 Euro per liter. How in God's name can you afford to drive an H2 in Italy?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />

Don't know about the wheel bearing. It doesn't say H2 in the list, but I'm sure that a bit of internet research will quickly give you the answer. I'm guessing it will fit, but I don't know.

Hi Indy, thanks for the reply!

Yes here in Italy the vat now is 21% the gas prices is € 1,70-1,80 but I've installed Lpg (0,75 €/ litre) so it's accetable!

I'm sure the item I posted it's right for my Hummer but I should like to know if someone here knows other sites with good prices, I'm looking for the Timken bearings but the price it's like double!

Ciao

Hey There,

I would stay away from those.... you get what you pay for.

These are not cheap pieces by a long shot. The dealer charges around $800 EACH, Timken is a good aftermarket one to get - I just replaced one of mine with a brand called SKF as I heard that one was a bit better. I paid I think a bit over $400 as I get a discount at my parts store now here is Calgary, Alberta....

Good luck!
