Marty the Trails are closed i believe for a few month's . Only snow mobiles .If we go up . It's for laughs ,beer, good times and watching things go BOOM ! Inside joke for those who party with Johnny B .

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!
(try that in your prius)

Anyway, welcome to the club Andrew. I am over kind of your way everyday now. I am now working at our companies location in Niagara Fall, NY. I am the proud owner of a H2, and I got bit by the off road bug in October. I got my hummer at the end of June 2011, not too long after I met our clubs president who warned me if I came to one of the clubs off road outings, I would be bit by the bug within 15 minutes... he wasn't lying.

I don't hate on Dodge, I had a Durango before getting my H2, my son now drives it so it is still in the family, I quite liked that truck actually. You will find we are all pretty damn friendly here, and jabs at other vehicles *cough* jeep *cough* are generally all in good fun. But when you get your H1 all the help you could ask for is right here.

Not sure if anyone answered your question about "what is Johnny's" Johnny is one of our great members here, he lives the other side of Barry, ON where some great trails are, and he was the one who arranged the October Fall Colours run. It was on this run that I got my H2 MUUUUDDYYYY for the very first time. It was the most fun I had had in a long time.

I'm looking forward to Niagara Falls ribfest this year as it is in my neck of the woods for a change. I live in St.Catharines, On.

Before my Ram I had a Dakota (the pickup version of a Durango). I only made the upgrade because I'm a tall guy and I was just tired of having my knees against the dashboard every time I drove it. I sold it with over 220,000 miles(354,055 kilometers) on it, and it ran great. So Dodge has been good to me.

I figured that if I was an Alpha member then I would have to go out and buy a H1.....right?

Meeting sounds good, I'm really only free on weekends and during day on most weekdays. I work nights on weekdays (making sure that all you Canadians get your boxes to smuggle across the border)

Up here H1's are either owner maintained or in Ontario go to Phil's. H2's and 3"s go to master mechanics in brampton Sponcer or private shops for now Rhino our H3 has an independant garage do the everyday required stuff save oil changes (dealer is cheaper here) and to Roy Foss Thornhill*

for waranty work. All non Hummer lights winch etc are owner/crew maintained. You'll also find various Hummer owners can do minor work or assist in major problems (Roy, Kevin (polar bear), Markus, Myself ( electrical). Just post the problem and the brain trust or crushed thumbs crew will respond.

* Nephew is a top GM mechanic at Foss and master mechanics are former mechanic and shop boss at Queensway Hummer
