Post by priuseater »

Hey all. Just wondering where you H1 guys get your air filters. Ive been around a few auto part stores, some can get them but they are like 70$. Is that around right. ?

Go with the OEM, there are issues surrounding the use of the K&N/Airaid filters, and the particulate they allow into the motor's intake, etc.

That sounds in and around the right price for the filter. I can get you the/a part number if need be.

Yea i read about the K/N's.. not that they dont have a great product, i have them on my car, and they are awesome. But on the 6.5 diesel.. im gonna stick with the stock. All the part places try and sell me the k/n, but i will stay stock on this one. 4hp ant gonna make a difference at all on a 8000lb vehicle.lol

Does wix happen to make a filter for this, or is there any particluar make.. Im gonna take a spin over to carquest to see if they happen to have one. And see if they have this mysterious "Lubegard" ive been trying to hunt down here in Canada to no luck.,

Thanks
