Definitely prefer Saturdays as yes...Sunday is a family day...also in case we need a recovery...
Nice to have everyone along though so I think we should definitely incorporate the odd one in there if you can't do Saturdays...
Do tell more about the theater though, don't get out near enough.... But the kids are getting older....

Re: Alberta February 18th run
My wife and I love the arts. She's a past chair of the board of Vertigo Theatre.
We watch - we don't participate. Both our jobs are technical so the arts is a nice release for us.
We're season subscribers to ALberta Theatre Projects, Vertigo Mystery Theatre, Playwrites, Ground Zero Theatre and Decidedly Jazz Danceworks. We also attend other productions during the season like plays, concerts, etc.
We've attended the Juno Awards ceremony live every year for the past 8 years or so.
Anyway, I'm not asking anyone to make a change - but Sundays still work better for me during the winter and spring. I have gone out a couple of Sundays already this year and had a great time. I would've gone more but I was traveling a lot......

Re: Alberta February 18th run
My wife and I also enjoy the Theatre very much! In fact, we met during rehearsal of a Lethbridge Musical Theatre production of Annie Get Your Gun. I proposed to her during the Banquet for all those involved after the run ended <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
I've done a few other plays and performances since then, but with 4 kids it is very hard to commit to that kind of schedule now, so we settle for audiance participation instead!
Great to hear of other theatre buffs in our group too!

Re: Alberta February 18th run
That's awesome! I love the theater but don't get a chance to go very often... Dinner theatre is always a personal favorite...
So do we want to do a consensus... Would the 25th work for everyone or is it kinda short? If we don't do this one on the 25th then we will definitely plan the April run on a Sunday from the get go...
What say all?

Gotta say I much prefer to run on a Saturday BUT I'd never say no to wheeling, no matter what day of the week...

Well, my intent isn't to scuttle an event that was already planned - but if the 25th is the day, I'm in.
Tomorrow would be AWESOME! Heavy snow warning - it doesn't get better than that. Sure wish I could get away from work for the day. The most fun you can have in a Hummer is in the snow.

Re: Alberta February 18th run
I have to pass on the 25th as I am selling my Komodo 1000. I've had it at the dealer for the winter and they've totally fixed it up so it's like new, and now I'm gonna sell it.... because....the manufacturer (Chironex) is giving me a BRAND NEW ONE TO TAKE TO Poland/Germany to RACE in the Breslau Rally!!
They're also paying my entrance fee (1830 Euros). All I have to now is get some more sponsors to help cover vehicle mods and transportation costs from Calgary to Dresden and back again! I'm expecting it to arrive mid April, so will take it for maiden voyage then before I start modifications. Thanks to all you who visited my Facebook page, and stay tuned for more. That little bit of support helps a lot!

Still deciding if that weekend is going to work for me. I am most likely in though, Sat or Sunday is ok with me.

Re: Alberta February 18th run
Hey Greg,
I feel like a heal... Could we keep the 24th and plan another run in April which will be on a Sunday? I think that would work best and we can get both posted for lots of notice... April 9th work?
