I was reading up on veg oil today... any idea if this actually works?? if it did I think McDonalds would have pumps out back to get rid of their old French fry oil! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I have been looking at making my own biodiesel and ethanol sometime during the summer. Thank God I also own 90 Acres, that way I can grow some of my own!!!

Oh, btw It actually does work! The systems are fairly cheap to purchase and normally produce 45 gallons of Biodiesel in 2 days, the system for ethanol makes only 30 gallons every 5 days! Since regular is now at 1.434 a litre here in mtl this is looking better and better!!!

As well, Diesels were Originally designed to run on Vegetable Oil!!! Rudolf Diesel designed his first engine to run on Peanut Oil!!!

Just so you know ethanol has been around since the 1890s and was the original fuel the Henry Ford designed his first cars to run on!!!

120 years later and they are making it sound like they just came up with the idea yesterday!!!
