Re: ARB Lockers and Twin Compressor
What did you do with your old compressor? If youre getting rid of it, let me know a price.
Also, what is the duty-cycle on the ARB pump?
Let me know how you like the ARB's, Ive been considering one for my front.

1) I was going to keep the old compressor but I would consider selling for $500. A new one is $1200 US!
2) They say it's 100% duty cycle.
3) So far I've been enjoying the ARB's. They lock when I need them to and it's like there's nothing there when I ride day to day driving!

Hey Scott,
Any issues with the install? I am in the process of doing TCs H1 and I was just curious!
Thanks,
Kev

Overall, the system is working great! I have the odd slow leaks when it's cold, but I know what to do to repair (put some clamps on the hoses). Other than that, the valve I installed at the air intake of the original AMG block valve is sticking at cold temperatures. I will try another kind and see if it's better.
I have it setup that the compressor always keeps 80 to 105 psi in the tank. But one thing that happens when I switch the tire inflation system is that the pressure relief valve opens up and sharply decreases the air in the tank to 50psi. I could always remove the relief valve, but I think it's better to have that safety in case I forget the switch on.
As for the ARB's, they are working great so far! I didn't have a chance to try them on dirt and rocks yet as we've been under snow for a while. One thing I will do is remove the safety that I cannot lock my front without locking the rear. This is easily done by taking the positive wire on the rear switch and sending it to the front switch. This way, I could lock only front or only rear. I don't recommend this if the switches can be accidentally put on. Mine are on the center top console, so this isn't a problem.
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to call me. PM me for my #.
Cheers,
Scott

Looks like a great install!
Do you know if it is possible to remote-mount the pressure switch? I'd like to mount my tank under the truck, but keep the PS up out of water by mounting it inside the truck.

I wouldn't see any problem in doing that. You just need to have a hose running from the pressure switch to the tank if you mount the PS inside the truck.
