Rear 4-Link and Coilovers

I'm still gonna use the actual coilover, not separate spring and shock. And you bet I am removing them!

For the front, why not look into running a coilover and limit-strap set-up? It might require fabricating new shock mounts, or even if you want to go extreme, new control arms. But you could drastically increase clearance and wheel travel.

oh its definitely crossed my mind, im still trying to figure out cv joints to run with that set up!

Oh and also, to edit that post about the shocks, after doing some research on the the fox shocks then have not been holding up very well for the most part from what I have read. Debating on what shocks to get now. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated

Why not continue to look into King's? Bilstein may be able to source you a shock setup as well a 5160/5165 resevoir setup might be a cost effective replacement for King's and Fox's.

i dont wanna run mismatched shocks, and this way I can go fast or slow haha! And im really thinking of the coilover fronts

I've been doing my research and the front end torsion bar to coilover conversion will be much more difficult than expected.
The biggest issue is there is not enough space to replace the factory shock with a coilover, and the upper shock mounts don't have enough strength and rigidity to hold the weight of the truck, they would have to be fabricated and/or reinforced to the frame, and possibly the frame itself. If it's anything like the Dixon bros. JD Fab. or Blitzkrieg motosports long travel kits a shock mount/engine brace might be an idea to increase strength in this kind of swap, I'm also the type to overbuild and over-strengthen to be cautious.
As for the 4 link in the back (which is a project on my mind as well) I'd look to the GM full size guys for advice on design and advice or the Colorado/Canyon guys, granted; most Colorado/Canyon guys are experts at a 4 link kit to lay frame, not lift and flex but its a place to start. I don't know how much research you've done so far but or if you've contacted many professionals for advice but I've gotten great advice from Blitzkrieg motorsports and BDS Suspension in the past. Might give you a few more resources to do some research.

Thanks for the insight, as for the rear four link my father has built two trucks with four links and coils one 77 and an 86 k20s. So him and i will be doing that part and as for the front im still up in the air about what i wanna do
