hi, i would like to swap my 2006 3.5 to a 3.7 2008 from a colorado i just wonder if everything will fit and if i can keep my 2006 ecu and wiring

Hi and Welcome to the Club!
To my knowledge, the only difference between the 2 engines is the bore of the cylinders, apart from that I think the 2 should swap. I just have to check the cam and crank sensors...they might be the only hang up for the stock ECM.
If you have to start swapping harnesses and ECMs, I would suggest that you skip the 3.7L and go for a 4.8L or 5.3L V8 from a Chevy pickup...you would get alot more benefits and better fuel economy!
