Met up with the guys at the Show and Shine in Toronto today, asked Derek about the Ribfest. He says we usually go on the Saturday, but he is still waiting to hear back from the organizer. So, if that is the case we can hit the car show on the Sunday. It will be nice to see some real cars at this one, instead of mostly toys with "fart cans" on the back like today.

Yeah, I would have one now...but I decided I should buy a house instead. It was a tough choice. Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to pick up an H1.

But if you got a H1, you could have moved into it! I guess your appetite will have to do for then.

That's what people tell me...it's tempting! I haven't been across the border in a while. Hopefully the weather will be nice.

We need to start making plans for this evening Ladies and Gentlemen, cause rooms will have to be booked and stuff if we are going to do two days!

Sooo, small problem with rooms in Niagara Falls for this particular weekend. June 15th, is the date Nik Wallenda is walking the wire across the Falls. Some room prices then jumped to $700 a night!!

My recommendation is to stay in St.Catharines, it is only 15 minutes from the Falls (Toronto side), and should be a lot cheaper. Now, that being said, it has been announced that the wussy-as#ed network ABC has demanded Nik wears a safety harness, which now completely removes the excitement and possibility of death... it is no longer the spectical it was going to be, and many people have decided to pass on watching it live, and instead will watch it on TV, if at all. That may bring the hotel room prices back down again.

I didn't even realize that this was the same date as the wire walk. I hope the border wont be to busy. Maybe Ill cross at Fort Erie.
