I've been having this weird problem since I put my ARB's in my front diff. Diff oil is coming out the breather. I thought maybe I was creating a vacuum because the breather is plugged in the air intake, but problem still persist with breather completely out of the air intake.
Anyone had this problem before.
What happens now is oil from front diff goes to both portal axles. In 500km I need to add about 1L of oil in the diff!
Any help would be appreciated
Thx

Re: Oil coming out the front breather!
Are you sure all your breather lines (which almost ALL are interconnected) are free and intact? Sometimes a collapsed line can create problems elsewhere. Either that, or perhaps it is overfilled? I dont have ARB's but Id recommend checking out the breather-line diagrams in your shop/parts manual and going over those. If you need a diagram or diagrams, lemme know.

Re: Oil coming out the front breather!
I don't know if this fix is compatible for the H1...i have the same problem on my H2 when the temperature outside becomes really hot, the front diff. fluid would leak out from the vent tube. I found a service bulletin (sorry, i lost the number ) that a filter P/N 5651682 need to be installed on the vent tube to prevent this problems.
Hope this helps!

Re: Oil coming out the front breather!
Is your front diff running to hot.cheak it after along drive and see if you can leave your hand on the cover
also cheak the T case level. if way to full you may have a T case cooler problem .it can cause oil to leak out the vent

Re: Oil coming out the front breather!
Thanks for all the good info guys I am guessing that heat could be the problem as last time it was squirting out was after a 40km offroad drive at 90km/h. I'll have to recheck my backlash on the ARB's as maybe there is too much friction which convert into too much heat. I'll also check to see if all breathers are free so that no unnecessary pressure builds.
