Not sure what you mean?... Imperial to metric? Or a fuel conversion?
[/quote]
sorry i mean propane fuel conversion

LPG = Liquefied petroleum gas
So either a propane or natural gas conversion (my guess is propane?). I thought that greatly diminishes your vehicle range though?
Not really sure who does that kind of conversion around here to be honest

I honestly have no idea.... I don't know of anyone doing that any more as the cost of propane had skyrocketted for the longest time, not sure if it's still worth at at 79.9 I think as you loose about 20% power if a remember right and we need all we can get....
I think it was Calgary Propane ltd. that was the popular one but double check first.
It would be nice if someone could ever perfect a good hydrogen generator..... Break it down to it's molecular form, the best fuel source out there.... WATER!! Then watch that price skyrocket....

I've always believed that Hydrogen is a better power supply for cars and portable devices... unlike batteries you don't need a capsule full of toxic chemicals and rare metals. Good for both combustion engines, plus you can turn it directly into electricity without combustion if needed.
The big revolution is going to come when they start using large scale algae tanks to generate hydrogen, electrolysis is simply too inefficient.

Here's a link to a guy who did a conversion on his rig, he sure seems happy with it. Not to sure what the % on the loss is Dave but there is.

Yeah... I changed my front diff fluid today. The fluid that came out was a grey mess that reminded my of chocolate milk, except it stunk like it had been burned. Luckily no metal scraps at the bottom, so hopefully everything is ok.

For the Propane power I only have a limited experiance with it. The guy across the road from me has his F250 running on Propane. He likes it although the tank he has is huge and he says he gets the same range as his old fuel tank. Also he has a lot of problems starting it in cold weather, always pluged in, and even then it's touch and go if it will start bellow 0 degrees.
