Onstar antenna - broken housing

Post by Rosco »

Hi All,

Noticed a leak coming from my roof console in front of my sunroof yesterday, on inspection today I found that the housing for the Onstar antenna has a big bit missing.. could this be the source?

Anyone know if these hard to replace, or should I just seal it up with something?

Thanks!

wasn't there a rubber antenna where the missing part was?

Looks like on backing up the antenna got hooked and snapped off. you'll probably need to change the entire antenna kit.

I think there might of been, cant remember what it looked like prior to the arrival of the hole.

Is this just for the Onstar though? if so i'm not overly worried about it functioning, would rather just stop the leak.
