Yeah dont bother going to the dealership, they will charge you a ridiculous amount more than likely. Get the relocation kit, and a stanadyne or D-tech replacement. If you have trouble finding vendors to supply you, lemme know and I can point you in some directions. My PMD was around $275ish, though I cant remember if that came with the relocation kit (though Im almost positive it did). DO NOT RE-INSTALL ONE ON YOUR PUMP.

Hi,

for sure it's not going on the pump...

It started just fine this morning and died after 30 seconds... and then nothing... yes I was already looking for a kit... but I would need one right now...

I found one used for 100$, a brand new pmd is around 275... but he told me it's 450$ with a cooler and 6ft extension... kind of expensive! Lets try the 100$ pmd

Dont bother with a used PMD. PMD's rarely will leave you entirely stranded. They might delay your starts a few minutes, and get worse progressively over the course of a couple/few weeks, but it is rare for them to fall-flat die and leave you entirely stranded. Id keep running, if you just noticed initial issues with it, and use the extra few days of time to order one in from a vendor or american distributor. I ordered from Pensacola Diesel 2yrs ago and still going strong.

Buy this one (click me). I will be ordering this one. A lot of guys from diesel place recommend it. You get the complete kit.

You may have beaten me to it but I posted the better pmd, so HA. I have heard that the d-tech unit is a more unreliable to the standyne unit. I'm only going off of what the guys at diesel place have said.

I'm no pmd specialist.
