I'm actually considering swapping the PCM one day, excuse to get the raptorq one that adds about 30 HP as that may be my issue - it always seems like its overcharging so it may be burning them out as the PCM controls the alternator...
Getting a check engine on the hvac so gotta find that this weekend and clean it out....I was wondering when that would show up due to these mud holes....
B-man ,.. Do you have 2 spare LED's I could buy off ya? One of my front ones are out again so if you had a couple spare... I'd make the change....

Re: The ALBERTA chat thread!
last day in montana.... kinda sad!
I realize now i gotta start making more money so i can enjoy more in life....now i just gotta figure that one out... gunna be 34 degrees today. we're heading back via the "Going to the sun" road which everyone should do at least once in life, it's pretty amzing. a road cut into the side of the mountain. one part there is only about an 18 inch stone railing, then about a 300 foot drop straight down.... litterally STRAIGHT down!!!! i get a little freaked at that part but it's still kinda kewl...
can't wait to see my bill from emortal when i get back, hopefully he got all the codes erased and resolved...
later dudes... getting the itch but i think it may only be J and i on the next run......

Is the road all fixed up at the top of the highway to the sun? Last time I did it, it was all under construction and down to one lane. There was a guy going the other way in an Audi R8 and was scrapping it everywhere. His GF was having a blast, he was less than happy with how the day was shaping up.

Re: The ALBERTA chat thread!
bla... my truck is falling apart on this trip <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' />
Massive banging sounds which I am hoping is just the rear sway bar smashing the leafs, new leaks have developed at the transmission output shaft and front CV output shaft, the front brake line nearly wore through before I noticed it and duct taped it safetly aside, it developed an exhuast leak, plus it looks like the lower diff bolts are weeping all of a sudden... then on top of that there is a squeaking, and a massive clatter of noise coming from both dust shields... ARRGG!!!!
Can anybody reccomend somewhere that will do braided brake lines when I get back? I am debating where to take it to get these damn output seal leaks fixed as well. No idea what I am going to do about the rear sway bar... maybe install rubber on the leafs or something... sigh.

Well I went to town on every bolt related to my undercarriage and it seemed to work getting rid of the banging noise. I think it was the sway bars, but who knows.
I had no idea that Gregg Distributors did actual work on trucks, I thought they were just a parts outfit. I might have to check them out.
Going to get Shaw to do the seals, I did the output seal on the transfer case myself and clearly I didn't do it just right... not sure if they will notice that or not. The output seal on the front differential should be replaced under warranty. Also the exhaust system is literally rusting to pieces with holes in the muffler and now leaks at the connectors, should be able to get some warranty on that.
