Getting checked out

Post by shotgun-cam »

Rhino was about to set out for another car show last Wednesday washed and just leaving when down the street comes another H3 black but without mods. The driver's window is down and you can see the passenger pointing out Rhino with his headlights on. They slowly drove by and the female driver gave Rhino a good look. This happens a lot with cars and trucks actually purposely driving to take a good overall look. Some even comment if the windows are down on the truck and some want info on the mods ( We've sent a few to ARB's Canada site to Tony ) and Movie crews yes their back around our Nieghbourhood look long and hard at the street legal monster truck.

Have any of you noticed the same thing.

Yeah my truck gets eye-ogled by just about every H3 I pass. I was out on Vancouver Island not that long ago, it was like being a super star, lol. A friend of mine thought I was exaggerating, but after going for a ride and getting three people giving me the thumbs up, endless people doing the 180 turn as I go by and even a shout out from a passing Chevy 4x4 yelling "Nice Truck" he started to see. I even had a handful of staff at the Canadian Tire in Merritt track me down and congratulate me on the nice job I did on the truck!

Oddly enough in Calgary, almost nobody even notices (or pretends not to notice) my rig.

thats because between Calgary and Edmonton there are probably more Hummers than all of Canada combined!!!

I love driving on highway 2, so many rigs and every 10 minutes at least 1 Hummer on the road <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!
(try that in your prius)

That's the beauty of the land of the red neck!!

Unlike Nick... I find that I am checked out all,the time....,I love it! I've never owned a vehicle before that turns as many heads as the H2 does! Something has to make up for the prostrate exam I get each time I have to fill it up at the pump!!

I think I mentioned this in another thread.... I actually had to help a little old lady up once as she just had to see inside! Yup, I love this thing for that!

I do want to get a daily driver though...

I always compare my truck to a really hot chick ...guys always love it but most girls just scruntch up there noses and just hate on it lol ....I get a fair number of people taken pics ..I can see the flashes as they drive by lol....but my first thought is always "oh , I bet Im gonna be on FUH2 now !". I have to admit I get a kick out of little kids and how they act when they see a big 4x4 ..they get so excited ........but so far the best thing that has happened is when I got pulled over by a laser radar trap ..not for speeding but for my tinted windows ....yes they are illegal ..limo tint ..anyways the Police officer comes walking over to my truck and the first thing he says is "nice truck" ..we then procceed to chat about my truck and off roading , he had a side by side he said , he had taken all my ID and info and i was fully expecting a ticket when all of a sudden he hands me back all my stuff and says "I had to keep you here a couple minutes so the other people getting tickets dont get suspicious" ..then tells me to have a nice day and nice truck again as i drove away ....that made my day lol
Lifted , locked and ready to rock!
