thickest tires
hey guys just wondering what is the thickest tire i can install on stock hummer h2 17" rims without doing anything to the truck ?

not sure what you mean by "thickest tires" but you can go up to a 39" tire stock. you will find that with the widest tires they will rub when you lock the wheels while turning.

37x12.5x17 pro comp mud terrains have a small bit of rubbing at full turn, but have worked very well!

I just installed 38x13.5x18 MT tires (37.7" overall diameter) and i have to install gm green keys cranked 2" and 1.5" rear spacer. I think, this is the biggest tire we could fit on the stock H2 suspension without a lift with little fender well plastic trimming....and still rubs on the frame at full turn. Then, if you do take it off-road, you need to beef up the suspensions and steering. Doin' mine in 2 weeks...i'm just waitin' for all the parts to arrive
