Re: Waiparous Falls Run
Got my truck back today with new brake lines & fluid, new CV shaft and new output shaft seals! Dents from the hail storm were not that bad, I figure I can pass them off as battle scars
Also, I haven't been this impressed with a shop in a very long time. Everything was done quick and professionally with very reasonable prices. If anybody needs work, I highly highly recommend Dave @ Broken Axle.

lol - just got your text - where is Broken axel located? I gotta admit that Rick's a pain to get to and he likes to charge.... he's been good to me - but still likes to charge.
I just finished hooking up my new temparary DRL's - B'Man ordered me a couple 18 watters on his last order and I just installed them - they look awesome!!! U definitely see me coming now! But I wouldn't mind switching them over to a selectable fog light light later so I did a temp wiring job. There's some smaller LED's that I saw that would be good DRL's that I think Brian got as well so will see what his look like on Saturday.
I hate to copy but there isn't too many of these type out there....

Dude! Definitely wouldn't mind getting out with your group but as we have a few guys travelling in from out of town this weekend I wouldn't want to be trying to re-organize things this late in the game, for their sake... but totally if we run in to you guys like Sugarphreak says - we'll shoot the chit for a bit! Personally I'd be more than happy to get the two clubs out together.
Yeah Dave when I was in the area last week the maps are all updated with the bridge closure... Although the online maps don't show the same closure so not too sure what to make of it really!
For radios I just got a set of Motorolas from Best Buy and one did die on me... but the other is going on 3 years old and still working good. Not a fancy set by any means either - middle of the road type deal price wise, under a hundred bucks if I recall.
[/quote]
There are some 'Hummer Club frequencies', so if a radio purchase is in our future I suggest that we use those.
I'm not sure if they are official frquencies or not, but it's the one that is most used by The Hummer Club Inc.

Re: Waiparous Falls Run
We are heading to the falls too, so I'm sure we'll run into you guys on the trail. I was going to invite the Toyota guys out too, but they're headed to BC this weekend for a multi-day run.
It looks like we'll have a small group, likely 5-6 rigs. I'm the guy in the black four door Umbrella Corporation rig, kinda hard to miss, and I'll be leading our group. We only have one stock rig coming out, so I doubt we'll be moving slow!
We run on CB channel 16, but if you let me know what FRS channel you are on I'll make sure to bring mine with so I can hear you guys too.
See you guys out there!

Re: Waiparous Falls Run
^^ haha, we tend to get side tracked a lot so I am sure you will catch up to us!
We typically stick to channel 2; if you catch us on it feel free to announce yourself (that way we don't crack any stuck Jeep jokes ...just kidding!). I am not sure what channel they have been using for CB.
