I have been looking around at getting Blue HID lights installed when I stumbled across these Halo add ons.
Is it only me or are they a MUST have?
I did a search for HID lights but the search function kept telling me I had too small of a search input so I didn't come across too much about HID lights in Hummers, so if you have anything to share I would really like to hear about it.
Hey you in the Smart Car....check your rear view mirror and admire my grill.
Okay try lumens they sell kits for the H3's its an H13 kit as I recall very easy bulbs fit in existing housings one old bulb plug plugs into new control box seal off the other. hang the two balasts and plug in wires and bulbs . You may have to adjust headlights

Wouldn't recommend Lumens.
They're a low-end maker, with most kits being priced around $80. I had two sets, both ballasts blew on both sets in under two months, and a friend of mine had his bulbs end up a yellow-ish colour rather than the nice blue.
Blue lights that look like cop car coloured lights, yes.
HIDs aren't illegal. If they were, car manufactures wouldn't be installing them stock with their cars, and people would be getting yanked all over the place.
HID lights are illegal across Canada, it's just poorly enforced. It is illegal to have HIDs in a NON HID designed projector housing.
When I had RHD cars, I had HIDs installed in one of my nissan skylines, if I ever went into a major center (Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon) I almost always got a fix it ticket, I even went so far as to re-engineer the nissan headlights with aftermarket PIAA projector rated housings, 4-5 more fix it tickets and even had my car impounded once by a real prick of a judge. I won't buy them ever again. I just use PIAA bulbs and they're far brighter than stock at the same wattage as o.e.m and D.O.T approved.
If you buy any aftermarket parts for your vehicle that has "Not Approved for Highway use" or "For offroad use only" the RCMP could potentially give you a ticket for it. So you have to be careful when you buy certain parts, headlights, taillights, even some cheap rims will not be legal for highway use.

Blue is ok as long as they are not flashing in any way. So the remote option in the video would be illegal if used while car is on the street.
Also if you have same type in red (4 sealed beam in the front 2x2 ) that can be alternating with the blue, ie: low beam red, high beam blue although it would be really practical in rush hour traffic, is a No No.
If they are used as DDL like on BMers, or other car brand that have that kind of light , there is nothing wrong with that.
