The sidewalls on my 35x12.50r20 tires are 2 ply, the cooper website says they are all 3ply. The 35"s measure at 34.66 tall & 9.8" wide so they are narrower than 12.5 which is my only pet peeve but they don't rub unless I'm completely compressed and at full lock.

I might have to go take a look at the tires to see if they are 2 or 3 ply.

Rancho is pretty much the only choice you have; the Tuff Country kit hasn't been made for a few years now, and other kits are just cheater lifts that send you torsion keys and rear shackles (although sometimes leafs). Rancho is literally the only real lift you can get; it is however a very decent kit.

One thing you need to watch with Rancho is that you get either new rims that have enough back spacing to accomidate the lift, or a set of spacers for your OEM wheels. The new knuckle will hit the tire otherwise.

How about that, I had no idea! For some reason I thought Tuff Country did make thema while back, but stopped. Good to know there are more choices out there!

See what happens!? Poor JonK . All he wanted was advise on a good 33 inch tire . Now ya got him into lifts , 35's , who knows what other mods ? Protection (UCP) and performance mods to move things along. Shame on you Sugarphreak and Mutaint . It is easier to quit smoking then the HUMMER mod bug !

LOL... you're so right Johny, it is an addiction... can't stop...

As for tires... my 3 cents... I did a lot of reading on the net and short-listed the following

Good Year Wrangler MT/R

Mickey Thomson MTZ

BFGoodrich KM2

... ended-up buying Mickey Thomson MTZ (315/75 of course)... so far I'm very happy
2010 H3 Adventure 3.7L - Hummer evolution :), 35" Mickey Thomson MTZ on 16" MT SideBiters, oem underbody & rocker protection, Safari snorkle, K&N filters, Air Doc intake, Rola roof rack, Off-road lights, Runva winch on High-Mount and Warn on tray, Outfitter heavy duty tie rods.

Hey guys I got some tires on my h3. Love them and they are Goodyear wrangler duratrac. Suppose to be awesome for winter too and pretty aggressive offroad as well.

Hi,

I would like to know, if the 4" full lift kit is absolutely necessary for the 35"s tires <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />

Thanks,

Quoc

no need for any lift kit for the H3 running 35, just adjust the torsion bar and realign.

you might feel light rubbing at full turn if not adjusted other than that, you're fine
