How much up in Canada?

I have the Dynomax ultra x-flo muffler, very good and deep, but I had to replace it after only a year.  For some reason the welds failed and the front of the muffler cracked....no I did not hit anything while off-roading.  The minute muffler shop owner stated that this was the 7th Dynomax he had to replace for the same reason.  Smells like a recall to me.
