Re: Hi Everybody
Was the electrical fire due to some mods you made to the truck or was your wiring completely untouched, factory?
Scary indeed.

Re: Hi Everybody
They could not tell due to the damage My insterment panel was flashing on and off like when tou turn key off and she was back firing through intake K&N I was on my way to garage to have it looked at.
Have been talking to a buddy of mine who is a firefighter and drives an H2 said most common place fire starts in any vehicle is through ignition wires. My cockpit from behind steering wheel to fire wall was melted.
I don't think it is a Hummer thing just bad luck!!!!
Cheers
John

Re: Hi Everybody
GM has issues Rhino has burnt out the resistor pack and wiring to heater , as well as wiring to O2 sensor by contact to hot manifold and a faulty encoder may have been wires as well. No fires but failures including backfiring rough idling etc on O2 sensor.
On your H2 sounds like an intermittant short on the ignition system causing strobe effect .
