I rented from Affinity car rental over at Yonge and Steeles Ave, but the only H2 they have was a white one and that was my first experience driving an H2.......

Wow this is sad I feel for the family.

Rapper wanna be looked like in Gadgets video.

Sad thing is there was a loss of life over stupidity!!!

From this we get a loss of a child very sad

Hummers seem to be the route the media wants to blame instead of the driver!!!

I see everybodys point here but the sad thing is loss of life a seven year old and it seemed to be lost in the media being more worried about him fleeing and ditching a Hummer!

From this a family has lost their child and Hummer took a beating much like the driver of the Hummer should get from his fellow inmates.

I hate the media they are so powerful and don't worry about the aftermath we here have a PITBULL and everytime we take her out it is a pain in the ass because of the media many fellow members have seen our dog and fall in love with her. Same to be said about the Hummers they get a bad rap until they are needed.

I am so sick of hearing you drive a Hummer must cost a fortune or you must be rich or you must wipe your ass with gold etc.... you get the idea we have all heard it the same with our dog we get she is a killer she is a fighting dog she is bad she eats babies etc..... MEDIA sucks and most people are sheep.

Long story short here we all are ranting and raving over this because it strikes a nerve in all of us in one way or another but the fact of the matter is Hit and Runs happen all the time and the media wants us to focus on the Hummer the Benz the BMW the SUV etc.... But it's focus should be on the poor family and how our wonderful (being sarcastic) legal system handles buddy that fled the seen.

Cheers

And my apologies for ranting!!!

John

Beets Rant On ! CBC seems to be the worst at this even after confronting the rental agency. I suggested they refer to the H2 as a rented SUV. As even a Smart Car or bicycle (manual pedal) can kill with a bad driver (rider).

Just like the song from Don Henley - Dirty Laundry, people like dirty laundry when it comes to news for some reason.
