So,.. Heading to Edmonton tomorrow for a welding shop auction.... Still trying to get that welder!

That sounds very interesting. Do they have lots of equipment? What size welder are you looking for?



I've had my eye out for one that runs off an inverter vs a transformer so that it draws less Amps from my house but they are still lots of $$$ as it's the newer technology.

from what i see... they have a ton of equipment... looking at a 220 volt capable of welding 1/4 in plate...



this is a full shop being auctioned off... gunna see if i can get a couple grinders too...

no... i found out that they only had one welder that would do the trick wereas I thought there were three.... Long drive to have a shot at only one... so I didna go...



Sucks though as you never know what they will go for...

Well, all of my gear is put away, and my truck is all pretty and clean now so I can use it drive around with the wife during showings. (I figure it looks better if I have a nice conservative cute-ute in the garage instead of something to deal with the zombie apocolipse).



Hopefully it sells in like the first two weeks or something so I can get things back to normal and go play in the mud again.
