So lately I have noticed that my H2 has had an odd sway under acceleration and in some turns. Upon closer inspection I found that my Edelbrock Trailing arms had severely worn in the pivots and were allowing excess play. So seeing as these only lasted 3 years, I was not going to install another set. So I began my research and came across these from PMT Fabrication http://pmtfabrication.com/Products/72-rock-crawler-4x4-custom-length-adjustable-control-arms.aspx
Here are the pics of my install;
So here they are when I received them...aren't they beefy!
Here are my crap Edelbrock arms that need to be replaced!
Here is the first one installed
The other side is exactly the same except you need to remove the gas tank skid plate to get access to remove the front bolt.
These new arms are fully adjustable and greaseable and hopefully should last forever!
Today I roadtested my H2 and man what a difference! My H2 is so solid and I find the ride better than ever! I think all you H2 guys order up a pair for your Hummers too!
Oh and you can get them powdercoated in whatever color you want...Cool Huh!
Btw, with the front Heim Joint, rear axle flex should be better than ever...update on that part soon!
See you on the trails!

Re: PMT Fabrication Trailing Arms
Cool upgrades....the only thing i don't like is the grease fittings....can you replace them with flush mount type so it's not prone to rock damage.

I agree, put those nipples up. Oh that sounds dirty! Those look like a nice upgrade!

Re: PMT Fabrication Trailing Arms
On the previous arms that where installed I had the grease fittings protected so well that mud and water would sit in them. I am going to try them like this simply because it will be easier to grease them and no crap can get in them. If I see that I shear them off, then I will recess them with a welded protective tube around them...but I really intend to keep them facing down!
