Re: H2 Rear Winch in Bumper Install
As promised here are the pics of the modifications the past couple of days, remember the final installation pics will be up on Monday.
So before I went to much further I had to mark out and cut the hole in the lower part of my bumper for the winch fairlead mount to fit thru.
Here it is marked out;
Once cut I did a test fit to be sure with all parts in place;
So now that I know that everything will fit and does fit, it is time to start welding everything into place. In order to be able to weld my plate in I first needed to level some surfaces to ensure a solid foundation;
Now that the foundation is ready the main plate gets welded in;
Since I am always asking myself, 'Is it strong enough' I decided to add some side braces to help when I do the hard side pulls;
Now everything is welded and prepped for paint;
Here is the first coat of bed liner coating...I think it looks good!
So the final stages will be done on Monday.
Have a Happy Easter!

Re: H2 Rear Winch in Bumper Install
My Rear Winch in Bumper Install is Complete!
The winch is nicely tucked into the bumper and looking and working great! Here are the pics!
I think the final finished product looks amazing!! I can't wait to try the winch out!
And here is a sneek peek of my new project starting in 2 weeks and will be ready by the April 20th Trail Ride!
Afterall, you didn't think I would make a custom rear winch bumper and then I wouldn't make a matching front did you???
Stay Tuned! But Look for a separate post!!
See you all on the trails soon!
