A couple of the participants accidently killed a spectator today at the Jeep go-topless event in Edmonton today: <a href="http://www.edmontonjournal.com/touch/st ... 8406056</a>

My brother watched the whole thing go down, it was being reported they were doing a "stacking" demo, but from the sounds of it they were getting carried away with spectators were all around.

It's critical to treat the vehicles with the respect they ought to, it is horrifying to know a spectator lost their life during a demonstration...

Crazy, goes to show how fast things can go horibly wron. Something we should keep in mind when we are on the trails and trying to 3 wheel our trucks and taking pictures of each other on obsticles.

Yeah things can go bad very quickly, no doubt of that. Although generally when you are out wheeling you are more alert and aware of the dangers around you. You also accept those risks, and do what you can to mitigate them. The spectators probably had no idea that there was a risk of something going wrong.

I think this is a big wake up call, safety at these public rally events is really going to need to be put under the microscope going forward.
