I don't know...... But I think so.
Something I didn't think of!
I'm in a council meeting about the new racetrack near Rosebud today. I'll phone the hotels tomorrow and find out.

The pre-event hotel in Durango, The Durango Downtown Inn, allows dogs for a $10 pet fee.
I still don't have an answer from The Holiday Inn Express in Moab. Hopefully I'll have one today.

Re: Expedition Moab - 2013!
OK, the event hotel in Moab (The Holiday Inn Express, Moab) is NOT pet friendly. They only allow service animals.
This is the same hotel that we've used for the past several years so I'm surprised that it isn't. But, unfortunately, that's the way it is.
There's a hotel right near it called the Aarchway Inn (google Earth it!) - maybe they allow animals, I don't know.
Greg
PS, I may organize the event next year so I'll check out alternate digs when I'm down there. We'll see how well it goes this year. They've been remodelling the grounds and adding conference space. We hope to use both (for free!). If they're good (and free!) we'll likely stay there.

Re: Expedition Moab - 2013!
I have some Expedition Moab 2013 news... I predicted it last year.
For the first time in many years, AM General will not be supporting this event. This has been the situation at most club events so it's nothing new for us, but there is a difference - we will have spares on hand along with a Hummer Tech from the great folks at Jerry Seiner Hummer.
We have vendors providing Hummer H1, H2 and H3 parts on site as well as 2 day delivery for unusual or not stocked parts. We'll have expert Hummer Tech Lamar from Jerry Seiner helping us out as well as the Hummer brotherhood that's at every club event. It should be a lot of fun!
If you haven't registered yet be sure to sign up before August 1 to get a reduced price and a free event shirt. After August 1 the price goes up a bit and I'll only have a few extra shirts so it's likely one won't be available if you sign in late - plus they'll cost you!
I've heard that the event hotel is already full but there may be some rooms at the neighboring hotel right next door - but there are only a few rooms left so don't delay.
I blocked out the same number of rooms we had last year and they're already gone, so I blocked out all the available rooms at the Aarchway Inn next door - they won't last long.
Man.... I'm getting excited!

Re: Expedition Moab - 2013!
Great news, we'll have vendors with parts and a Hummer Tech from Jerry Seiner Hummer coming to the event. If you have a mechanical problem it's highly likely you can be fixed and back on the road - right in the motel parking lot!
Thanks to:
Dave Breggin from Blue Hummer
David Oberer from Hummer Parts Guy
and Lamar from Jerry Seiner Hummer.
These people support the Hummer community everyday. If you need parts, please consider using their excellent service.
