I'll be bringing my dad and nephew...my pops love's the old cars. So I'm just going out for the day and won't be going to the dinner thing after. Hopefully this weather let's up so I can sand and paint my brush guard, it's looking rough after this last winter. I'm also ripping off those N - fab side steps, they are nothing but rust now..brutal. Gonna cut off the step part off and weld them to my rock sliders and put those back on, just need to find someone that welds...I need to buy a welder, even though I don't know how to weld lol. I need to get on my list of summer mods too. So I'll give one of you guys a text when I'm on the road and we'll meet up before hand in stettler somewhere . To bad you can't make it ramrod , next time.

Yeah I hope the weather is good, seems to be pretty spotty right now.
I should probably wash my truck tomorrow, I picked up some sweet wheel cleaner from CT... I tried it on one wheel and in 5 minutes it was cleaner than the hour I spent trying to get another one cleaned up with soap and water.
Meanwhile my tail gate top cover broke off... looks like ass, not sure how to fix it either.

Yeah clips, I was trying to close it on some tires and ended up pushing up a bit and it just broke off... funny thing is, I saw an H3T yesterday with the cover missing too, haha.

'phreak there's an upgrade for the tailgate cover. It's 4 tabs that hook into the tailgate, 4 flat top bolts, and a new cap. Cost me about $150 for the lot. if I can find the part #'s I'll send you a pm.

Booyah!!!
That did sound kinda flimsy...
So I'll play morning by ear... If its going to be raining there, no point spending $150 in gas there and back in the Hummer and only 30 in the jeep... But then again it's been quite awhile since I've had it on the highway and would be good for the engine....
8 is a bit early for me... 8:30 ok at Timmy's in crowfoot? Bring your CB!

So woke up this morning, got all my stuff together and started working on my truck...sanding, painting, cleaning and more cleaning...spend 8 hours making my truck look pretty...then I noticed a leak under my truck..a pretty good one. So I call my mechanic and he tells me to bring it down right away....just got home from his shop. Leak is where the TC and the tranny connect..mechanic says it probably just a gasket but it's just leaking. So instead of enjoying hanging with friends, my truck goes in for repairs tomorrow...but it looks great lol..I laugh but I'm pretty pissed..promised my pops and he was pretty excited. Sorry fellas.
Lifted , locked and ready to rock!
