Re: Offroad show to benefit Tim Bosma's family
Here is the latest update. How about CHC makes a large showing at this one. this is turning into quite the event, and could become annual.
Ok guys and gals, there needs to be a change made. This event has grown to a huge number with several very influential members of the Offroad Community attending. If my calculations are correct we are looking at members from 13 Offroad clubs from all over Ontario. There is a time and a place for caking our trucks in mud and this is not one of them. We have several media outlets coming and we as a group are looking to be taken seriously in the Offroad community as well as get an understanding and acceptance within the community in general. We are going to amend previous statements about bringing your rig dirty, they do not need to shine but lets clean them up and let the public see them for what they are no matter if they are stock, or jacked or monsters. The owner of the property will certainly appreciate it and will most likely allow us to hold future events at this location. The goal is to make this an annual event so if on the first event we ever put on we make a mess or destroy things the likelihood on an annual event involving 13 clubs will be very unlikely. We also need to remember that first priority at this event is to raise as much as possible for the Bosma family. We need to remember that members of the Bosma family could be in attendance so lets promote a positive image on Offroading!!
Thanks to everyone for your cooperation and i am looking forward to socializing, and making contact with everyone, and planning the next event.
