The off road community!!!!

I try to wave to all fellow off roaders you can tell who most are they have a mod or two some have a lot of mods.

My Rant is the wave :wavey:  I will be driving around town I see a fellow off roader and I will wave :wavey: .
My RANT or BEEF is the other driver not acknowledging my wave but I know they saw it!!!!

I don't give fiddlers fart on what you drive I will go off road with anyone who wants to go I will even go with Derek!!! lol

I know some of us see that the trails are disappearing and our community is now slowly dieing!!!!

Why not stick together?  And take the 1 second it takes to wave back I just don't get some people!!!

We need to get it together sooner than later!!!

My input is that you have to pick the place....

On the trail I wave, smile, or nod if the hands aren't free to everyone I pass and 99% of time they will waive back... Now, I DO NOT do that on the regular streets as 90% of people that dress up their rigs are " princesses" that do not go on the trail. Now some of them are awesome, but I have found most are snots that think they are better then everyone else...

So for those that are like that, to me they aren't worth the time of day...

Now having said that - the ones that do take their rIgs off road usually stand out more, and those ones will almost always waive back.... In Alberta anyways.... Guys we meet on the trail have always been awesome!

When on normal roads we generally don't wave but at lights we will lower windows and chat with other drivers (including police ) that are interested  as well as at shows. Remember many off roaders drive more normal street cars and trucks as well its more important to keep roads safe for all including that nut bar in a smart car that just cut you off.

Saturday June 15th The Toronto Star ran a piece on the H2 Hummers with a slight off handed history (Humvee H1 and AMG connections) nothing on the H3 again the article was mostly negative ( fuel milage and problems ) with little on the plus side ( smooth ride and safety)  nothing on the Clubs or the Hummer community.

I get annoyed by how so many people slag the H3... they don't really know anything about it, yet are a self proclaimed expert for seeing one.

Guess what; it isn't bad on gas, it does go off-road, it ain't a re-badged Colorado  :argh:

haha, there is my rant for the day

I have that article, just finally got time to read it last night, you're right it is your standard somewhat cheerfully written negative article by a person who took quotes from the internet (trolls). At least there was some positive in this one. But personally, I like the quote of the guy complaining about the gas mileage while towing his 19 FOOT BOAT! Like his trucks gas useage is his only problem!

I too when stopped next to any potential off roader I chat with them as for the police   I have way to many around here trying to prove themselves lol

I will continue to wave and continue to say what a knob!!!

I feel your pain the whole slagging thing!!! H3 is Colorado and H2 is 2500, what I find funny is how we even the Hummer community we slag our own we all have seen it how the H2 and H3 aren't real Hummers!!! That the H1 is the only Hummer. H2 is better than an H3 etc.....  I get the whole bashing you drive a Jeep or you drive a tracker or you drive a ........... It really gets me how some won't even talk to you because of what you drive!!! What I find really funny and I see it all the time I talk to everyone I see mud I see potential off road buddy and possibly new trails!!!!
I still get a chuckle no offense to our our club but look at our CHC BBQ we pack the H1's with H1's, H2's with H2's, H3 with H3's!!!
It's funny how a vehicle can make some so prejudice!!!!

I drive a Hummer period but I also drive a Dodge!!!! And a Jimmy, have in the past drove Jeep and still am looking for another Jeep yes I like Jeep I also like the unimog and land cruiser the question to ask ones self is I drive a Hummer now am I going to be driving a Hummer in the next 20 years or 10 ten or even next year!!! Or for that matter whatever you drive now are you going to driving same brand for rest of your days not many do but the one does and my hats off to them.

There's my rant for the day toooooo....

I never get that the H2 is a 2500, according to people I drive a Tahoe!   But in all actuallity I rarely get people being negative 99% of the time, it is compliments. The other day, a guy says to me, "Boy, I'd hate to be rear ended by this thing, I'd be dead".... I just smiled and told him, that if he was driving a real vehicle he would be fine (he was walking).  :P

Hopefully our next truck or replacement for our Hyundai Accent will be an H3. I have been trying to talk the wife into it. She likes the JeepWrangler and i keep trying to slag it so we don't get one. Now that she has seen a few H3s up close and also been behind them offroad i think she is impressed more and more with the H3. I saw a decent one the other day for 11k. With another 5k it would be an awesome ride much better on gas and also very easy to work on.
Don't forget, long term the H3 will become quite valuable for a parts machine so i would buy 2 if i could!!
