Yeah dude, this is EXACTLY why I don't take my truck into the shop for any reason. They jerk you around like crazy, and the waiting is often not worth the money you save by getting warranty work.
 
I vowed never to buy another GM again as well.... although I might be tempted if those HX rumors pan out, lol

Going to set it up for autocross, I used to do that quite a bit before

Nice. There is a pretty good group of guys that autocross here in Lethbridge. I'm going to have to take part next summer I think. See what the Subaru STI can do. Also going to try to get them to let me take my old racing Kart out for a blast every once in a while. I miss Kart racing.
