Ok enough weird weather In July we got floods Saturday/Sunday we got Ice (Boy did we get ice). In fact tonight Wednesday my brother in Scarbough still sits in a dark house with a small generator running and just to  our south west the street is still dark. Houses are surrounded by huge century+  trees covered in a beautiful but deadly ice coating.  Even on the 401 big branches lay  beside the sound walls where they broke over them. Right now its so cold out that we're under an Extreme Cold Weather Alert .
Again we broke lucky in that we were spared the worst of it power staied on (so far) and truck save for frozen doors has no damage. Neighbours to the south and west next cross street for us and just north 2 lights were out atleast 24 hrs. Commendations to the Hydro crews running the repairs and to the others who came from outside to help them.
