Tires

Post by dsittler »

I am in need of some new tires for my H2 and wondering if anyone has put 37" tires on a stock H2? Will there be clearance issues? Looking at Mickey Thompson MTZ tires.

I had toyo's 37x13.5x17" on stock suspension.

It's a close fit , but I didn't have any issues, my rims were the factory offset. Not sure how would fit with other offsets.

Some say to turn torsion bar a little but I didn't.

Now only time I felt a slight rub is if turn hard right and slammed break, and slight I mean.

I am running 38.5 Michelin XML and I only have minor rubbing at full lock. I used to run 37x13.50R17 Toyo Open Country MT which used to rub on the stabilizer bar. In both cases you will only notice it at full lock.

If you offroad you will love the extra ground clearance!!

I used to run Goodyear MTRs 37x12.5.17 on my truck, I did change the torsion keys and crank the bars and only had rubbing at full lock on the bar like Kevin mentions above..
